Can I claim my home equity line of credit when filing for bankruptcy?

I am filing for bankruptcy and have negative equity in my home.

1. sure if you are foreclosing on the home inside the bk.
2. Do you have a lawyer who is filing the bankruptcy? If so, ask him/her. That's why you're paying him/her. If you're filing on your own....get a lawyer who will handle this for you. Much much easier.
3. You are REQUIRED to report ALL debts when filing for bankruptcy. However, if you keep the house, you keep all debts secured by the house.
