Can I get a home equity loan if I have bad credit. Please help. I need to know what trusted companies I can contact for this type of loan. Thanks.

Do you have a home? Do you have at least 20 percent equity in it? If so, you probably can get a home equity loan but with bad credit the terms might be more interest. I'd go to a local bank and see what they have to say and stay away from mortgage companies or the subprime ones that promise "no credit, no problem" and get you what you want even though it might not be in your best interest.
dumb idea. why put your house on the line? home equity loans can be called due at any time. dont do it.
