Homeowners Insurnace question.? I am seeking Info on Avatar Property & Casualty Insurance from Tampa FL? My mom has to get new homeowners insurance and this was recommended to her. She wanted me to check them out and They are not registered with the BBA so... I was wondering if anyone has had dealings with them. 1 - Went to AM Best - Not Rated (thanks) 2 - the major insurance companies have dropped the homeowners insurance for all homeowners in the area because they are within 1 mile of Indian River. She previously had State Farm. That's why I am suspicious of this company that just showed up out of nowhere. They have a website but not much info on it. I am ready to tell her not to use them.
